Tanning! The Lazy Way

If your anything like me you love the idea of a flawless tan but hate the thought of wasting countless hours baking in the sun. Going back to school looking like you have spent the last few months laying in the sun on an island is essential. For those of us that don't like to sit in the sun half naked (or have the time for it!) faking a tan can easily be done with a the help of a few products.
A crucial component to our glow is a good gradual tanning lotion. I'm not a big fan of the Jergen's tanning lotion, the smell alone is a turn off.  It tends to be on the orange side and leaves streaks behind, not to mention the mass amounts of body glitter not even Ke$ha could withstand. Jergen's may be a good fit for some but it is definitely not very friendly with me.  My favorite gradual tanner is the Nivea Sun-Kissed Radiant Skin Gradual Tanner and Daily Lotion. Despite being a mouthful to say I think it is great for my fellow pale friends out there. The smell is surprisingly fruity and the color is just subtle enough to make a difference. It also delivers results in just one day. Don't get me wrong you could easily over do it with this tanning lotion just like any other but for a drugstore tanning lotion Nivea is my favorite.

To keep the charade up a good natural bronzer is your best friend. Stray away from chunks of glitter (as tempting as it my be) the less sparkle the more natural. The bronzer I use has virtually no sparkle. Bronzer helps even the tan from your neck to your face and overall add a glow to your look. i apply mine to the hollows of my cheeks, my temples, jaw line, and an occasional sweep across the nose and forehead for an extra bronzed effect.

I use the Maybelline Fit me bronzer in light bronze. Although this may be some people's skin tone I'm so pale that this shade adds a touch of definition to my face!

Combine both products and viola! it looks like you have had the summer of  lifetime all spent in the sun! I will defiantly be keeping up this routine right through the start of school. I went to Greece this summer, where did you go? ;)
